THE PRODUCER:

Heidrun and Manfred, Claus Wolf's parents, had taken over the parental estate in the Albiger Langgasse in the mid-1970s. It is inextricably linked with the qualitative departure of the Rhineland Hessian land. He began his career at the time of the grandfather, who was in personal contact with the innovative vine breeder Georg Scheu, the head of the nearby Alzeyer Landesanstalt für Rebenzähung.
In this tradition, Manfred Wolf continued the viticulture and the vine refining, which was established after the Second World War, until 1980. The innovative strength and the willingness to perform were demonstrated by the founding member of the Rheinhessische Weingüter auction house. The wine qualities of the region were first brought to the professional wine-growers, later also to private customers. Soon twenty years, until the death of Manfred in 2010, father and son worked confidently, energetically and successfully together.
