THE PRODUCER:

Château de Nouvelles is named after a famous predecessor, Jacques Fournié Novelli, who was the third Pope of Avignon, elected in 1334 under the name of Benedict XII.

Four appellations rub shoulders on a vineyard of 75 hectares. The owner, Robert Daurat Fort, combines traditional know-how, plowing, manure, breeding in oak barrels and modern oenology.
Highlight of Languedoc region, Chateau de Nouvelles produces a legendary Fitou wine and a surprising array of red and white Rivesaltes.
