THE PRODUCER:

When I think about when the passion for wine began, I find no concrete date. Everything has acquiesced.
As a 10-year-old boy still not thrilled with the hoe in his parents' vineyard in my home town of Freyburg, I later learned the profession of wine maker in Saxony Radebeul. I was curious, I wanted to not only work in the vineyard, but understand and know what is happening in the basement. I bugged the winemaker and learned it with amazement.
Then the turn and suddenly new opportunities from the parental hobby viticulture is a small winery. Since 1998, my responsibility. A rapid development begins. I learn, observe, want to make and have every little thing in mind. The reward sets in the wines win over regional recognition.
In 2005, the step to Zscheiplitz. "Courageous, madness, respect," people say. "Everyone has his own fortune," I say.
